Following in the footsteps of other luxurious and high-end offerings, IDFC Bank has revamped its metal credit card offerings: the Ashva and Mayura. Justifying their fees, both cards now provide accelerated reward points for travel and hotel bookings, along with a higher redemption value. This enhancement in reward point values for hotel and flight bookings made through the Travel & Shop section makes both cards valuable additions to your wallet.

Since the launch of IDFC First Bank’s Travel & Shop section, it has gained considerable popularity, particularly for its reasonable rates and offers on credit cards. Now, both the Ashva and Mayura credit cards are eligible for bonus reward points for hotel and flight bookings made through the IDFC Travel & Shop portal. Additionally, IDFC Bank has increased the redemption value of reward points for both cards.
Accelerated Rewards Points Via IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App
Ashva and Mayura Credit Cardholders shall now earn bonus Reward Points on online spends via the “Travel & Shop” section on the IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile App. These Reward Points shall be earned over and above the existing reward rate.

That’s a reward rate of up to 20% for travel.

Bottom Line
The Ashva and Mayura Credit Cards from IDFC Bank have become more rewarding, offering up to ₹0.40 and ₹0.50 for each reward point earned. This is a positive move amid a landscape of devaluations that cardholders often experience. It’s also a strategic move, especially as many credit cards are nearing their renewal dates.
Those with these IDFC Metal Credit Cardholders shall not only get higher reward point value for redemption against hotels and flights, but shall also earn up to 50X Bonus Reward Points for travel spends via the IDFC First Mobile Banking app. This, when combined with ongoing discount offers, would significantly reduce travel booking costs.
While this enhancement may not fully justify the card fees after the first year, it is definitely worth applying for. For those who appreciate the elegance of a metal credit card but want to pay a lower fee, the Ashva Credit Card is a great option. Click on the link below and apply now.
